Nanette is an experienced Financial Sales & Marketing professional, having worked in the international corporate area for global banks. She has been active in the global Impact Investing community for the last 10 years both in FX, payments and hedging services of exotic currencies as well as Marketing & Sales of Impact Investment projects to Impact Investors.
Bas worked for 5 years in management consultancy, 12 years in banking, 13 years in private equity and now for 4 years as entrepreneur and (non-executive) board member at various companies and NGO’s. In relation to Africa, Bas is chairman of the supervisory board of Amref Flying Doctors and board member of DOB equity (Dutch impact investor in East Africa). Bas has a masters degree in econometrics.
Solange is an accomplished program developer and manager with 12 years of experience in strategic, financial and administration management. Prior to joining NOTS Solar Lamps Ltd., Solange served as the Education Development Center Inc. (EDC) Deputy Chief of Party for a $ 25 million large-scale literacy and numeracy USAID funded project.
Ritha, prior to joining NOTS Solar Lamps Ltd., was the Finance and Administrative officer for 5 years for a USAID funded project. In this role she oversaw the financial and administrative operations of the project. She holds a bachelor's degree in accounting from Kigali Independent University.
John is consultant and interim manager. His previous positions included CEO of V&D, Etam Group and of Dexcom Holdings N.V. and Chairman of the Board of Postkantoren BV.
Has had a 27 year career in Investment and commercial Banking in the Netherlands. He currently holds a number of advisory position with Dutch family offices and Dutch foundations. He is the co-owner of “Saar aan Huis” a company which renders care services for the elderly.
Saskia is founder of Riverdance Counsel Company which serves CEO's, top management and entrepreneurs in profit and non-profit with Coaching, Counseling & Change programs. Saskia is also Director, Shareholder and Founder of Concordia Fund, an independent "closed end" private equity fund. Previous positions were, amongst others, Global Director Human Resources with Heineken and CEO of Mona Dairy company (part of Royal Friesland Campina).
Paul is a Managing Director at Aké Partners, a corporate advisory firm active in sub-Saharan Africa with local representation in Lagos, Nairobi, Abidjan and Johannesburg. He has 25 years of investment banking experience with Morgan Stanley, Barclays, UBS and ABN Amro and was head of African Investment Banking for Barclays/Absa Capital in Johannesburg.
