Through solar power George's life has completely changed
The life of George (38 years) and his family from before and after the availability of electricity is something you cannot compare. He always worked as a tailor, where he was making and repairing clothes. The process took a lot of time because everything he did was handmade.

I live in a small village in Madagascar far away from a big city. Therefore our community did not have all the means that are available in a city. The arrival of electricity was like a dream coming true.

Me and the people from my village got so much more opportunities to make a living now. I decided to buy a sewing machine. I started a store where I sell clothes I make myself. With this sewing machine, working on electricity, the work goes so much faster and easier. Now my production is almost the same like a tailor in the big city.

I am very thankful for this. For me and my family this is a big change. But it is not only for us, also for everyone in the village and the next generation. This is something where from now on everybody can provide from.
